it’s one of those things you see on tv, read about in books… NEVER in my life would I have expected such a insanely sweet, romantic, touching gesture…

The candles, the music, the food… oh man, the food! The fact that you went out and bought this insanely wonderful dinner and then cooked it for me and had it waiting by candle light for me when I got home from work… You really are an amazing and wonderful man. I can’t imagine what she was thinking, letting you go.

I know that things like this don’t happen all the time, but the fact that you did it for me with no reason, no special occasion, no reason other than you wanted me to feel special and you figured no one had done it for me before… you were right. But because it was you, it was so much more. I really did feel special. You looked me in the eyes and told me I was worth it, that I deserved so much, and for once I believed it.

You danced with me in the kitchen by candle light. You were just so gentle and sweet, there was no expectation, no rush. And then falling sleep together while The Princess Bride played in the background…
